Why can't I submit new vendors right now?

To execute the vendor number conversion, Food Lion LLC and Hannaford are not able to set up new vendors between Sept. 18 and Sept. 30. Please talk with your Category/Merchandising representative to be sure your vendor information will be set up Oct. 1.
Also, because of the item number conversion, we will not be able to setup new items or make item pricing and promotions changes in the days immediately before the Oct. 25 common numbering go-live date.To ensure your new items or pricing/promotion changes are not delay, please make these submissions before Oct. 19.
